7 July 2017 - All my favorite spots have come back to me... of course thinking of them was insufficient, I had to test each one out.  And they were all conducive to nap-taking, just as I recalled.  This aerie, on the edge of the kitchen, is ideal for those times when the shorter peep is bustling about (you never know when a taster is required).  I am high enough to see everything, as well as avoid scurrying feet.  Whatever propels this thing I'm atop, also emits heat, which even on a summer day (or at least what passes for one around here) can be desirable.  So it is a win-win situation, as peeps are fond of saying.  I would have said purr-purr.
