rudester and peeves

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

26 July 2017 - Life around here would be much quieter without the squeeps.  We currently have two that lay claim to the beep feeder:  if a furry butt isn't parked among the sunflower seeds, then it is stretched out on the supporting bracket, daring anyone who might flutter in.  And there is serious disagreement between our two chatterboxes as to which is the rightful owner.  Their dispute often involves a noisy chase that spirals up, or down, the host tree.  The gulf between porch and tree gives their haughtiness more confidence.  A younger version of me would leap to the trunk, ignoring the consequences, just to watch these nuisances scatter.  Obviously thoughts can't kill.

word of the day - purrsist, to continue doing something, in spite of opposition (more admirable when I do it)
