Me-usings and Me-emories
8 September 2020 - In hindsight, literally, I should have tucked in the tail. But then I wasn't seriously hiding from the shorter peep. What is the point if the seeker gives up in frustration... or doesn't even know there is a game afoot? So I dangle the bait and lure in my catch. The barely-got-away sprint from behind the screen, the let's-do-it-again reset doesn't get old... well maybe the tenth time in a row has softened with staleness, but the first few landings pump me with adrenaline. And all that energy pressing to get out means that the dash is not an act. As a backup plan I keep a toy handy, in case I have to entertain myself while waiting for someone to notice... peeps can be very slow recognizing their entrance cue.
Today's Catechism
(for the autodidcat)
Keep trying to
"play well with others".
