12 September 2020 - It is unlikely that an interloper would be this particular shade of blue, but my job isn't to make assumptions:  it didn't flinch at my swat, so now there is no guesswork.  Thoroughness is just one of a cat's positive traits, honed by daily tongue washings and our pursuit of cleanliness (and yes, we do have a minor few negative ones).  What is achieved by skipping the right hind leg, other than more work tomorrow and a full day of feeling out-of-sorts?  Besides, a sentry who cuts corners is asking for the axe.  So, don't be surprised when I give my rounds four sides and carefully check all the right angles.
