3 September 2020 - Should I request hazard pay? My peeps are appreciative of my contributions to a harmonious household, but one can only be thankful for what one is aware of. So shouldn't I mention all the danger into which I stick my nose? It is never clear which will win out, my trepidation or my curiosity. But what is bravery, if not a positive action in the face of fear? Labeling us as "scaredy cats" is an attempt to disavow one's own trembling limbs. That inner voice yelling "run" has kept our species, both cats and peeps, alive through the millennia. I fully endorse a long life, so I will always proceed cautiously... which doesn't preclude fright nor squelch fun. But I need to get back to my concentration....
