Me-usings and Me-emories
13 September 2020 - "Nose to knee"... not that much of a stretch for us cats. And our flexibility is fortunate, since how else would we be able to reach those out-of-the-way spots, that nonetheless need cleaning? I have observed both my peeps in similar straddle positions (truthfully their noses aren't long enough to bridge the gap), although seemingly not for the purposes of bathing. Their reasons aren't clear to me, but evidently make sense to them... perhaps another example of cross-species miscommunication. In order to understand someone, similar experiences are needed as reference. But they amble around on two legs and I use four: trying "to walk a mile in the other's shoes" is, as you might guess, problematic.
