Me-usings and Me-emories
1 October - Another cool morning! My peeps seem pleased, but I am a Florida cat and like my days hot. My buzzcut hairdo is truly a lightweight coat, and not appropriate apparel for dipping temperatures. However this lament should not be construed to mean that I will gladly, or otherwise, don a sweater... even if the shorter peep whips out her knitting needles. She should know better (do I look like a dim deep??). The beeps and I have in common a higher metabolic rate, an internal furnace to keep our core toasty and extremities pliable. But this fire requires stoking, if not by the consumption of food then through the burning of fat. You might have noticed that I don't have much extra insulation on my frame... so keep the kibble coming.
