change-up

Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

7 Aug 2023 - Things have quieted down here at the lake... and I am cautiously optimistic that the siege has ended.  But that doesn't mean that I'm not looking over my shoulder periodically and keeping the ears pricked.  The even better news is that the ne'er-do-wells did not take advantage of my hit-and-miss sentry work:  we haven't been overrun by beeps or squeeps, although they are still out there, nattering and swooping about the deck.  I can easily rack up overtime today.

  1. I’m glad to hear that things have returned to normal, tho your peeps may be sad that their friends have left. It’s good that you tolerate these occasional disruptions…and good that the interlopers don’t take advantage

  2. Alas, normal is difficult to maintain... especially since my peeps and I have different definitions.
