Me-usings and Me-emories

15 September 2020 - Monday is a good day to put in an office appearance:  it gives the air of industriousness (and allows one to take a personal day on Tuesday).  Besides managers are expected to be in and out, chatting up clients, reeling in new ones, spending company time (and profits) on power lunches and power golf rounds.  Schmoozing over food is a cats preferred way to make friends and influence peeps.  I am not fazed by the same-old-same-old kibble served in my bowl, allowing my focus to be somewhere other than digestive backlash.  But I will give fair warning to my meal mates:  the way to run me from the negotiating table is to eat off my plate.
